Valuation for Insurance Replacement

Our valuations are vital proof that an item exists and that you are the rightful owner, they can also give you peace of mind that they are insured at the correct replacement value of today, would you know if you were under insured?
Our valuations come with individual photographs of each item and full detailed descriptions. Each description is like a recipe, it includes all the important components as if to create the exact item from scratch.

Our valuations are recorded on a database which links your valuation to our shop, not your home address, this is for peace of mind that your data is protected .You will receive a full colour booklet including pages containing item descriptions and numbered photographs. The booklet also contains explanations of key abbreviations, glossary of gemmological jewellery, silverware and horological terms, also information on : diamonds and how they are graded, types of cut and hallmarks.

Items should be revalued from 3-5 years, as recomended by your insurance company.This means you would have an accurate replacement value of your items . GOLD and particularly PLATINUM values can change enormously within this time.When you update with us you dont pay the same price as before, you only pay a percentage on the difference between the old and new values.

We do use an outworker for this service, he is a long standing member of the Guild of Valuers. The time needed to complete all valuations can be from 5-12days depending on our valuers work load. If you would rather us do the valuation on our premises then this is possible if you only have a few items. As many people don't like to be without their jewellery that is in need of a valuation, we will try to complete the valuation within 1 to 2 days. Our valuations do not come in booklet form but do contain photographs and are signed by us.
